Egadi Islands

The Egadi islands are located west of Palermo and are one of the best kept secret of Sicily with crystal clear blue waters in protected reserves.

This itinerary usually departs from the center of Palermo which is a fascinating city to explore and would also include a stop at the Tonnara di Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo.

LEVANZO is the smallest of the three Egadi islands. There is only one village and barely any restaurants. It is the perfect place to explore archeological sites and spend a lovely night at the anchor away from the crowds.

MARETTIMO the most remote of the Egadi islands is also largely unspoilt by tourism and feels like time has stopped. Its only fishing village has barely any cars and is surrounded by a marine natural reserve.

FAVIGNANA is the largest of the islands with numerous bays and endless crystalline waters and a lively town with historic buildings.

Charters for the Egadi islands depart from Palermo or Trapani in Sicily and can easily be mixed with the Aeolian islands for those who want a two-week charter.
